Obligatory Introspective End of Year Post

I had my first total Google search failure today.
I googled for “bloomberg ventures” but the site wasn’t found anywhere in the first 30 results.
Maybe the venture fund doesn’t exist anymore? It’s the only possible explanation…
On a whim, I decided to google on Bing instead and voila! The first result was http://bloombergventures.com/

I learned from multiple facebook statuses that Brittany Murphy died today. Not knowing who this was, I decided to look her up on wikipedia.. and found that someone had already added a section about how she died. A whole paragraph, with citations. Call me old-fashioned but I think that’s kind of spooky.
